Bomb threat
Notify the University Guard: (22 55) 22 112, who will inform the relevant services of the emergency.
You can also notify the services directly by calling the emergency number 112.
- When notifying, provide the following information:
○ the type of threat and the source of the threat information (by the phone, via e-mail, suspicious object);
○ the content of the conversation with the person communicating the threat, the telephone number, e-mail address where the threat was communicated, and the time of the call or the correspondence, description of the location and appearance of the object. - Keep a safe distance.
- Do not approach or touch the object.
- Warn others of the danger.
- Absolutely obey the instructions of the University Guard and officers of the relevant services.
If your safety is not threatened:
- until the arrival of the services, secure the endangered area, observing elementary safety measures;
- once the services have arrived at the scene of the bombing incident, they take further charge of the action;
- follow the instructions of the officer(s) without fail;
- in the absence of information on the specific location of the bomb, users of the premises should check their place of work – it may be possible to find items of unknown origin.
REMEMBER!
- suspicious objects must not be touched;
- public areas are checked by the institution’s security personnel;
- once an evacuation has been announced, you must remain calm to ensure a smooth and safe exit from the affected area (“Evacuation, assembly points”);
- explosive identification is handled by specialised services;
- curiosity is dangerous – move away from the explosive area as quickly as possible;
- in the event that the vehicle park is included in the danger zone, do not save your car by force (this also applies to other valuables) – life is more important!
