Evacuation, assembly points
- Using the building, check where the assembly points are. Familiarise yourself with the evacuation route plan.
- Remember to evacuate according to the directions/signs designated in the building.
If your safety is not at risk:
- strictly follow the instructions given;
- terminate computer equipment and secure computer data against unauthorised access;
- turn off and secure all electrical and gas appliances;
- prepare (secure) your own selected property, documents, seals, funds, etc. for evacuation;
- all persons leaving the University should take their personal belongings and proceed to evacuate, following the instructions given, and then proceed to the designated evacuation location.

- Head to the evacuation exit via properly marked evacuation routes.
- Do not use the lift during evacuation.
- In case of heavy smoke on the escape routes, move in an inclined position with your head as low as possible to the floor (lower temperature and less smoke).
- If necessary, protect your airways, preferably with a handkerchief wet with water, to make breathing easier and prevent burning of the airways.
